As a general rule, students may borrow up to 3 items. If more items are required, please ask the member of staff on duty. Most items may be borrowed for a two week period. Some popular titles may be borrowed for a one week period. Some very heavily used textbooks are available for overnight loan.

“How many books can I loan out from the Library?”
You are allowed to take out 3 books at a time, including both fiction and non-fiction books.
“How long am I allowed to have the books on loan for?
The standard loan period for all pupils is two weeks, with as many renewals as you like.
“What happens if my book is late?”
The date that you need to return your book is wrote down by a Librarian on the front cover. If you forget, a memo will be sent out in tutor sessions. Fines will occur for books over one week late at a cost of two pence per day.
“I’ve lost my book – what can I do?”
If you lose your book, you will have to either repay the Library the cost of the book or bring in a “swap” book of the equivalent price.
